NerdWallet loves making lists, and this time they've created one highlighting the best cities for recreational activities. Based on the amount of "green space," the number of playgrounds and recreation options for people of all ages and interests, they've determined that Minneapolis is the best city for recreation.
Using data from the Trust for Public Land, NerdWallet found that Minneapolis' ratio of skate parks, indoor skating rinks, golf courses and fall sports leagues was superior. Minneapolis wasn't Minnesota's only city in the top ten—St. Paul was also included. The rest of the top ten included Cincinatti, Norfolk, Va., Baton Rouge, La., Anchorage/Anchorage Borough, Alaska, D.C., Irvine, Calif. and Pittsburgh.
