It looks like McDonald's Mighty Wings could be the fall's biggest surprise. Burger Business noticed a Facebook post (second image) from a Springfield, Mo. location revealing that the wings would be one of the many new menu items the chain plans to unveil when the season changes. The tell tale post has since been deleted.
The Mighty Wings were part of a very successful test run in Atlanta last year, and were resurrected in Chicago this January. All was quiet on the Mighty Wing front, but Burger Business notes that a U.S. trademark registration was filed for "Mighty Wing" last week by McDonald's Corp., which suggests that they're on their way.
The wings were sold for $3.99 in Atlanta and $2.99 in Chicago in quantitites of three, so it's not quite clear how much they'll go for once released. No word on which cities are getting them first, but they're lucky.
