The last we saw of Daenerys Stormborn (Emilia Clarke), khaleesi, dragon mother, city conqueror and all around boss, she had just gained thousands of new followers, in addition to her recently acquired army. When Game of Thrones returns for season four next spring, there will be probably be plenty of new characters in her orbit, but one new face is assuming an old role. THR is reporting that the recently cast Michiel Huisman is actually taking over as Daario Naharis, previously portrayed by Ed Skrein.

You'll remember Naharis as the pretty-boy mercenary introduced late season three who was so taken with the khaleesi that he killed his partners and pledged his allegiance to her Queensguard. The sexual tension and eye-fucking between the two has been palpable ever since, much to smitten, forever friend-zoned advisor Jorah Mormont's (Iain Glen) heartbroken chagrin. If this news is true, it will be the first major recast in the show's history. So far, there are no details surrounding Skrein's departure.
