On Tuesday, various Chipotle's in D.C.participated in a fundraiser where 50 percent of the cost of meals purchased between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. were donated to the closest library. D.C. Public Library Foundation executive director Linnea D. Hegarty said that $2,500 was raised, with 500 people trekking to one of the 12 participating restaurants.

In an email to DCist, Hegary said that the foundation was "very grateful" for the support. If this was your good deed of the week, you should be proud of yourself.
