The guacamole was the true star last week.

A lot of stuff happened during last week's episode of Breaking Bad, but nothing was more noteworthy than the scene with Walt (Bryan Cranston), Skylar (Anna Gunn), Hank (Dean Norris), and Marie (Betsy Brandt) at a Albuquerque restaurant trying to have a tense, awkward conversation while a server keeps bugging them about trying the tableside guacamole. I know the show was really trying to push those main four as the stars of the scene, but, after this report, it's clear who the star really was: None other than that tableside guacamole.

According to The Wrap, the Albuquerque restaurant featured in the episode, Garduño's, has seen a surge in customers ordering the dish since the episode aired this past Sunday. Apparently, only about 30 percent of customers usually ordered the tableside guacamole, but now, after the episode, the number has gone up to 35 percent, a 16.67% increase—this, according to Corporate General Manager Warren Gaustad.

It doesn't seem like much on paper (or the screen, rather), but it's still some sort of effect. Gaustad added that many customers are citing Breaking Bad as their reasoning for visiting, and have been asking to have the authentic Walter White experience at the restaurant.

"It's been pretty funny," he said. "We've had a lot of people coming in to take pictures and wanting to sit at the table where the characters sat."
