It's official: Bradley Cooper is the final addition to the heroes of Marvel's upcoming film Guardians of the Galaxy. Unfortunately, he came a bit late to the game and the only character left was Rocket Raccoon—who is, quite literally, a talking raccoon—but no matter! A superhero he still is.

Cooper joins an already star-studded cast featuring Chris Pratt, Zoe SaldanaDave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Lee Pace, Benicio Del Toro, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, and Peter Serafinowicz.

If you're not familiar with Rocket Raccoon, good news and bad news: Bad, the trailer has already been taken down. Also, you can probably just look up all the information about Rocket Raccoon that your heart desires on Wikipedia. This will definitely be the role of Bradley Cooper's career.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is being directed by James Gunn, and is set to be released on August 1, 2014.
