This dude gets an "A" for effort.

On Tuesday morning, a man shot an arrow at the recreation area on the second floor of Whatcom County Jail in Bellingham, Wash. This is unique for reasons outside of the fact that people don't typically shoot arrows at correctional facilities in the 20th century—you see, there was marijuana wrapped around the arrow. Unfortunately, 36-year-old David Wayne Jordan missed and the arrow (and weed) ended up on the roof.

When Whatcom County Deputies discovered Jordan's pickup truck at his home with the bow inside, he claimed that he was aiming at a squirrel. This did not, however, explain why the arrow was wrapped in marijuana. The Bellingham Herald says there was nobody in the jail's recreational area, so deputies aren't certain that Jordan's arrow had an intended recipient, but it didn't matter. He was arrested and charged with obstructing law enforcement, resisting arrest and suspicion of introducing contraband to a corrections facility.

Oh, and he's now residing one floor below his target.
