A greased-up woman wearing a thong bathing suit was arrested for refusing to leave Washington Heights'Highbridge Pool, and from the sounds of it, the sheer fact that she had the audacity to wear a thong bathing suit is the biggest crime. On Jul. 16, Raiz Nunez, 21, was thankfully dragged away from the pool for reportedly taunting police officers who had asked her to leave.

According to NYC Park Advocates, removing Nunez from the grounds was all but easy for police. She allegedly plopped herself on the ground near the lockers to resist arrest, forcing officers to roll around on the ground with her in a haphazard attempt to slap the 'cuffs on. This proved difficult, because Nunez was covered in sunscreen. The struggle left one officer with injuries to his hip.

When police finally handcuffed Nunez, she was charged with disorderly conduct, obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest. Still, her biggest crime was wearing the bathing suit, as one of the cops reportedly commented that she looked like "Sponge Bob Square Pants."
