Georgia Waffle House Robbery Thwarted By Customer

Don't assume you're the only person at the Waffle House who's armed.

None

The Waffle House is a sacred southern staple and customers will protect them at all costs. Earlier this morning, an armed robber made the mistake of assuming he was the only person in the building with a gun when he tried to rob a location in Union City, Ga., which is just outside of Atlanta

Union City Police Det. Gloria Hodgson told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the man strolled into the Waffle House around 2 a.m. and demanded money after brandishing a gun. Accordng to Hodgson, a customer shot the suspect, bringing the attempted robbery to an unsuspected end.

The unidentified suspect was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and his condition is unknown at the moment. This is presumably the last time he'll try to fuck with the sanctity of a Waffle House.
