VLC App Returns to iOS, Play Any Video You Want on Your iPhone

The best video player on the planet.

None

VLC, the popular video player that lets users play all video formats, is back in the App Store after being kicked out about 30 months ago.

That's right, you'll now be able to play all sorts of videos on your iPhone. But what about getting the videos on to your phone? The new VLC app has that covered: it has Dropbox integration, and the ability to share files over Wi-Fi by uploading them through your browser—all you need is iOS 5.1 or later. VLC supports access by third-party apps, and network steams for PCs. Also, users will be able to adjust filters, contrast, hue, saturation and brightness during playback. What more could you ask for?

Oh yeah, and it's free
