Two Dead After Being Struck By LIRR Train in Queens

According to the NYPD, two people were killed in Queens last night after jumping in front of an oncoming LIRR train. The incident occurred at roughly 10:20 p.m. at the Hollis Station located at 193rd street and 99th Avenue. Witnesses told the New York Post that both people lept from the platfrom just as the train, which was headed to Manhattan, approached. 

The fatal accident resulted in a two-hour delay while authorities removed the bodies from beneath the train cars.
