Trayvon Martin's Mother Testifies During George Zimmerman Trial

This morning, Trayvon Martin's mother, Sybrina Fulton, took the stand in the George Zimmerman murder trial. Fulton testified that the screams heard on a 911 call definitely belong to her son. Zimmerman has been charged with second-degree murder for fatally shooting the 17-year-old Martin in Sanford, Fla. last February.

Once the audio was played for the court, prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda asked Fulton "Who do you recognize that to be?" Her response was simple: "Trayvon Benjamin Martin." Determining whose screams are heard on the call could be pivotal for the case, as it would help identify the aggressor in the fatal confrontation.

Zimmerman has pleaded not guilty, claiming he shot Martin in self-defense. If convicted, he could face life in prison.
