If you're looking to have your dreams crushed and your soul murdered just a little bit, by all means, watch the above trailer for VH1's newest made-for-TV flick, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story. It'll do just that and more!
Basically, Lil Mama, KeKe Palmer, and Drew Sidora star as Left Eye, Chilli, and T-Boz, and the film chronicles the band's rise to success and the recording of such hits like "No Scrubs," and Nic Cage's favorite song ever, "Waterfalls."
Maybe a good idea in theory—and the girls certainly look the part—but when executed, it looks more like a badly produced Lifetime movie. Was getting the lip-syncing right too much to ask? Apparently so! Even worse: The real T-Boz and Chilli are executive producers on this project.
Anyway, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story is set to premiere in October on VH1.
