"Veep" Star Timothy Simons Has Joined the Cast of Paul Thomas Anderson's "Inherent Vice"

Looks like Jonah Ryan will be annoying a whole new set of people soon. According to DeadlineTimothy Simons, AKA Jonah Ryan on Veep, AKA the world's biggest single-celled organism, has officially joined the cast of Paul Thomas Anderson's upcoming film Inherent Vice, which is an adaptation of Thomas Pynchon's 2009 novel of the same name. It's not completely clear who he'll be playing just yet.

Simons joins an already star-studded cast: As previously reported, the film will star Joaquin Phoenix, Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson, Josh Brolin, Martin Short, Katherine Waterston, and Jena Malone, amongst others. As for the plot, it follows the story of a detective investigation a kidnapping between 1969 and 1970.

Now, let's all take a moment to appreciate this.
