The Thinnest Men in the U.S. Live in San Francisco

Get the skinny.

None

San Francisco is apparently America's snobbiest city, and San Francisco county is also home to the thinnest men. According to a new Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington study, San Francisco's male population had the country's lowest obesity rate in 2011 at 18.3 percent. That's almost a full point ahead of New York, which was listed at 19.1 percent. As for the county with the most obese men, that title went to Owsley, Kent. Sorry, guys.

The study also revealed that while San Francisco men are skinny, it's not due to exercise. Nope, it's all the result of diet and a frustratingly healthy way of life. The women of San Francisco are no slouches either, ranking 7th on the non-fat list.
