The Last of Us, the runaway hit from Naughty Dog Studios, has spent six weeks at the top spot in the UK and currently the top selling game in the world according to industry sales trackers. It has been a slow release time for consoles as publishers gear up for the holiday season but it’s still remarkable sales for an exclusive title on PlayStation 3.
In its third week of release The Last of Us had already sold 3.4 Million Copies, now in its sixth we're yet to receive sales numbers but chances are just about everyone you know with a PlayStation has already picked this up.
Publishers are pushing hard for summer sales right now so it’s a great time to grab all the games you meant to buy when they first dropped. Far Cry 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Max Payne 3 all landed near the top with deep discounts.
