Samsung has officially turned up the heat on their competition after announcing that, in just a span of two months, the Galaxy S4 sold 20 million units. If you thought this smartphone was hot, it's gotten even hotter.

In 2012, Samsung needed 100 days to sell that many units, so whether it's been by word of mouth or because of marketing, something is striking a cord with consumers. When the numbers are broken down, Samsung sold 333,333 of the devices per day within those two months—that's 228 per minute. All of this makes the Galaxy S4 the fastest selling Android device ever, which is a pretty remarkable feat considering the new breath of smartphones on the market, like the HTC One and Xperia Z.

Are you one of the 20 million?
