Rock Creek Social Club's Monthly Party Returns to D.C.'s Federal Lounge Tomorrow Night (7/30)

The party never stops.

The D.C. nightlife scene has definitely been missing something since Rock Creek Social Club ended its weekly Goodlife DC party last fall. They promised to keep the party going in some capacity, resurfacing on a monthly basis to throw events around the city. They're back at it tomorrow night, taking over Adams Morgan's Federal Lounge (2477 18th St. NW) with the rambunctious vigor that made their weekly Tuesday night party a phenomenon.

DJs Jerome Baker lll and Spinser Tracy will handle the music and Unkle Scooty, the collective's voice, will keep things light by talking his shit on the mic for the duration of the evening. The party starts at 10 p.m.; it's free before 11 for everyone, there's no dress code and food will be served all night long. Oh, and there will be valet service. Unfortunately, they can't guarantee the um, "liberation," that you see on the flyer. There are other clubs you can go to for that.

Party, bullshit and go to work with a hangover and a grin on Wednesday morning. If you're still reading and not gawking at the image above, we admire your will power.
