A man with a presidential name has been sentenced to 72 months in jail for whipping his son with a television cord. On Monday, 21-year-old President Pimping Austin, Sr. (yes, that's his real name) was given the maximum sentnce for the Nov. 2012 crime that left his 2-year-old with injuries to his buttocks, stomach, genitals and legs. A nurse at the Children's Hospital in St. Paul, Minn. reported that both the 2-year-old and 4-year-old showed signs of child abuse.

During an investigation, the children's mother revealed that Austin—who she has a restraining order against—attacked her, convinced that she had found another man. Austin also reportedly took her EBT card during the attack. When Austin was arrested a week after the incident, her EBT card was discovered on his person.

Along with the sentence for maliciously punishing a child, Austin will serve a consecutive sentence for domestic abuse.
