Summers in NYC are divisive. Some will cite the scent of urine and thick, hyper-moist subway stations as reasons to abscond to the Hamptons (or anyone's available beachside residence, anywhere), while others (hint: us) find the city has a lot to love, provided you own an air conditioner and can afford to drink your weight in margaritas nightly. And, no, we're not just saying this because we can't afford to leave NYC. (Well, not entirely because of that, at least.)
