Yesterday morning, a man tumbled five stories off a rooftop to his death in Brooklyn during a failed robbery attempt. His body was discovered behind a building in Sunset Park around 12:15 a.m. The New York Post reports that the victim was in his 50s, and sources believe he may have been pepper-sprayed by a group of thieves who were trying to rob him, forcing him to lose his balance.
The Post says the NYPD, who believes a party was going on at the time, is questioning someone in connection with the man's death. The New York Daily News reports that the three men seen with the victim are still at large.
