A videogame version of the upcoming Warner Bros. film The Lego Movie will release concurrent to the cinematic release of the movie, developer TT Games announced today.

The cleverly named The Lego Movie Video Game will drop on both current and next-gen consoles with additional versions slated for Wii U, PC, Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita. Basically everything with an on switch is going to get some Lego love.

"We're thrilled to be able to give kids the joy of reliving Emmet's adventures in becoming virtual Master Builders with The Lego Movie Videogame,' said Tom Stone, Managing Director at TT Games. Wait, kids play these games?

The game will be based on scenes in the film, letting players control the protagonist Emmet, who becomes mistakenly identified as the key to saving the world.
