Maybe you saw the first gameplay trailer for Grand Theft Auto V yesterday?
Of course you did. Something you may not be aware of: that gorgeous second coming was running on a current-gen console. A Sony PlayStation 3 was the engine running that stock market crashing, helicopter flying, Trevor you will be our favorite, version of GTA V.
According to Rockstar,
"Just to clarify for those asking, this particular video was captured with footage from the PS3 version of the game."
Questions were obviously raised over wether current-gen consoles would be capable of running such a massive and graphically rich title. There you have it. Witchcraft and Rockstar working together to perform Christmas miracles. Watch the trailer above one more time because reasons.
Grand Theft Auto 5 is due out for Xbox 360 and PS3 on September 17.
