After a day of deliberation, a jury of six women has found George Zimmerman not guilty of killing Trayvon Martin.
On February 26, 2012, Zimmerman, 29, shot and killed the 17-year-old Martin at the Retreat at Twin Lakes in Sanford, Fla. Martin was unarmed. Zimmerman was charged with second-degree murder, to which he pleaded not guilty. In addition to being found not guilty of second-degree murder, he was also acquitted of manslaughter.
