David Alan McBurnett is as much of a victim of his own stupidity as he is Murphy's Law. McBurnett, who's on felony probabtion for homicide and manslaughter, was pulled over in Brooksville, Fla. last Friday when an officer noticed something behind his ear—a joint.
Following a field test, officers confirmed that McBurnett was stupid enough to be on probation and riding around with weed not just in his vehicle, but on his person. The Lehigh Acres native was arrested and charged with possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana and violating his probation. He was taken to Hernando County Jail, where he's being held without bond.
He did it to himself.
