Eight people were injured after a propane gas plant exploded in Tavares, Fla. late last night. The blast occurred around 10:30 p.m. last night at the Blue Rhino Plant where 24 workers were present. Of the eight injured, three were transported to Orlando Medical Center in critical condition for burn treatment. Authorities are still trying to determine the origin of the explosion.

Tavares Fire Chief Richard Keith says he does not suspect foul play. "We don't think this is any act of sabotage," he told News 13. "We honestly think it was an equipment failure with the combination of human error from one of the staff."

Fifteen people were originally reported missing, but thankfully, all have been accounted for. Everyone residing within a half-mile radius of the plant was evacuated, but that order was lifted earlier this morning. News 13 reports that the explosion was so powerful, it melted several employee's vehicles.
