Dallas Fast-Food Chain Entices Dwight Howard with Free Chicken Fingers

Desperate measures.

Raising Cane's, a fast food chain located in Dallas, is making highly-covered free agent Dwight Howard a tempting offer: free chicken fingers for life if he signs with the Dallas Mavericks.

Raising Cane's marketing manager Adam Reed is taking this very seriously. “These next few days, Dwight Howard will be making arguably the most important career decision of his life,” he said. “So we thought we’d make Dwight an offer he couldn’t refuse to up the ante for a Dallas-bound decision.”

Despite the offer, Howard's Los Angeles Lakers can still offer him the best deal—$118 million over 5 years compared to Dallas' $87.6 million over 4 years. Those chicken fingers probably won't be a deciding factor, but it's still an admirable move.
