Don't drive recklessly, but definitely don't run drive recklessly when you're sitting on 45 packages of heroin. Police in Staten Island stopped 19-year-old Michael Elazhr on Wednesday after he drove the wrong way down a one-way street, and a stop for a traffic violation escalated to a drug bust when it was discovered that Elazhr had 45 decks of heroin hidden securely in his butt.
Police witnessed Elazhr driving a like a maniac, and fled when he saw them. When they finally stopped him, they figured out why he tried to escape. Court papers claim that he told them "The drugs are on me." More like in him.
He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, reckless endangerment and reckless driving.
