There is a traffic sign right near a preschool in Auburn, Calif. that reads "Please Slow Drively." Because a traffic sign with a typo near a preschool isn't the least bit concerning, right? Not only are children's lives being placed in danger, they're being led astray scholastically.
Sacramento's Fox40 did some unspectacular reporting on the sign; the highlight was a kid suggesting that maybe it was installed by one of the preschoolers. At least he applied logic, that clever kid. Their most profound conclusion is that the stop sign has the potential to be confusing, as if that rough statement that it bears isn't the very first thing you notice.
Meanwhile, the origin of the sign and its cryptic typo remain a mystery....
