Don Mattrick, soon to be former head of Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business, is reportedly leaving Microsoft for an as yet unnamed position at....Zynga.

Huh, that strikes us as an interesting decision considering, you know, Zynga has been struggling with their titles for quite some time now. According to a report on All Things D, Mattrick could be leaving Microsoft as soon as today.

There is some speculation that Mattrick might be taking over as CEO over at Zynga, but we will wait and see how the rest of this story plays out. Mattrick has been front and center amid the Xbox One and its unpopular DRM policies. As the public face of the Xbox One, Mattrick has bore the brunt of the outlash generated by consumers. More on this story as it develops.
