You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (1985)
Director: Clark Gesner
Stars: Kevin Brando, Michael Dockery, Brad Kesten
Has any other cartoon character been abused more than Charlie Brown? The kid can't catch a break-everyone makes fun of him, he's balding, and his dog insists on making out with the girls in his class. Charlie Brown is the perfect guy to watch if you want something seemingly lighthearted, actually deep-or, honestly, if you're depressed. Basically, he's going to make you feel better about yourself.
You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown follows the kid, who we suspect suffers from some form of social anxiety (we're glad he sees a therapist, even if it is Lucy), through his everyday life. He always breaks his kite, he accidentally tells Lucy "Merry Christmas" when it's Valentine's Day, he struggles to get his awful baseball team to win, and he tries to get the Little Red Headed Girl to pay a little attention to him.
What's better to watch for a Friday night alone, right? Misery does love company.
