A new video for Assassin's Creed: Black Flag has been released showing off the multiplayer co-op mode in all its bloody, pirate’s life glory.

In the brief video, VG247 gives a hand-on overview of how the co-op mode works in the upcoming pirate-assassin game from Ubisoft. In one mode, players must defend their treasure from thieves and another that limits weapons so users can only kill with a pistol. The co-op modes aim at multiple styles and ranges of play, from stealthy assassinations at scenic Caribbean locales to all-out blood baths at the pirate's cove.

The missions shown here are all co-op, up to four players can work together, timing kills for extra points and coming to each others aid. Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag drops on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U this October, with next-gen versions soon follow.
