XCOM: Enemy Unknown, latest in the classic XCOM series released by Firaxis, will port to iOS later this week.

Firaxis promises "the complete XCOM experience of the console and PC version of the game optimized for the touch interface of iOS devices." Enemy Unknown will feature a head-to-head multiplayer mode as a free update to be released shortly after the initial launch.

In screenshots provided by Firaxis Enemy Unknown looks remarkably like the PC and Console versions. XCOM: Enemy Unknown will be released on Thursday, pick it up and revel in glorious glam cam sniper kills on your commute.
