Xbox One Controller Features Outlined Before Microsoft's E3 Press Event

The controller is only half of the equation.

None

We'v got some new details regarding the Xbox One controller and how the controller will interact with the all-seeing eye of Sauron that is the newly redesigned Kinect.

Thanks to a blog post this morning courtesy of Major Nelson, we've learned that the controller will utilize both invisible reflective technology and LEDs to communicate with the Xbox One deck and Kinect, which means you won't have to sync the damn controller nearly as much.

Some of the the other features outlined are a low power state to conserve battery life, a desperately needed D-pad redesign, and improved analog sticks. You can get the full technical rundown of the newly redesigned controllers right here.

We just hope that E3 will be dropping all of the surprises that we were promised after the unveiling.
