Internet slander has never reached the level it reached it did yesterday on Twitter, and if you're wondering what exactly happened, it started with a simple hashtag.
Yesterday, BET's 106 & Park started the #AskDraya hashtag for VH1 reality television star Draya Michele who appeared on their hit reality series, Basketball Wives: LA. What was supposed to be a friendly interactive Q&A for fan's of the model and video vixen—who is set to make a guest appearance at 106 & Park on Thursday—back fired and turned into a slander fest.
The 25-year-old vixen, born Andraya Michele Howard, was arrested back in 2010 on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child when she left her then 7-year-old son home alone while she was (allegedly) out stripping. If there wasn't a better time for Twitter trolls to take over a Q&A to tear apart the young single mother for poor parenting, this was certainly the time.
Here's how Twitter reacted to 106 & Park's #AskDraya hashtag. (Seriously, Draya. Unlike Twitter, we actually believe you aren't the worst mother ever. God bless.)
