Twitter went ablaze this afternoon when Radar reported that Emmy-winning chef and butter connoisseur Paula Deen admitted to using the N-word with staff members. To add fuel to the fire, Radar is also reporting that Deen confessed to wanting black waiters to play the role of slaves at a wedding party she planned to host.

Deen's admissions came to light during a deposition for being accused of verbal abuse and racism by a former employee.

“The whole entire waiter staff was middle-aged black men, and they had on beautiful white jackets with a black bow tie ... I mean, it was really impressive," Deen said, rationalizing her want of an all-black wait staff at her party. "That restaurant represented a certain era in America…after the Civil War, during the Civil War, before the Civil War ... It was not only black men, it was black women ... I would say they were slaves.”

As for Twitter's response? Users "commenced to dragging Deen with sharp wit and satire almost instantaneously."
