The Federal Government Has Change of Heart Over Plan B

Getting up to speed.

Oh, the fickle government. It's finally come around and decided to back the ruling handed down by a New York judge that states Plan B can be available to girls of all ages with no prescription. Now the Obama administration and disapproving women's rights groups can stop fighting over the matter.

Yesterday, the Department of Justice told U.S. District Judge Edward Korman that they will fall in line with his decision. If he gives their plan the stamp of approval, the DOJ will halt their repeal of the decision. Also, the Food and Drug Administration has requested a new label for the pills so they can be sold without age restriction or a prescription.
