Yesterday morning was a difficult one in Woodbridge, NJ after a tanker carrying 6,000 gallons of scotch turned over and exploded into flames. The vehicle, owned by B-Line Trucking in Newark, was traveling through a residential and commercial neighborhood when it turned over, resulting in the blaze. According to Chief Dan Gregan of the Fords Fire Co., the truck hit a telephone pole and a parked Cadillac while making a turn before catching fire.
Fortunately, the fire did not pose a threat to the neighborhood and the driver was not seriously injured.
