Ryse: Son of Rome, premiered during Microsoft's E3 press briefing, the once forgotten Kinect title has been revamped into a controller-driven blood fest.

Ryse features an updated combat system that has no block button. Let that sink in.

Players will have to parry and hack at foes to complete graphic killing blows. The execution system is a quick-time event based finishing move. QTEs can be a major turn off but Ryse simplifies this since different executions can be unlocked and learned so no jamming at random buttons.

Put the kids to bed and check out the bloody gameplay trailer for Ryse: Son of Rome.
