Plum Organics CEO and co-founder Neil Grimmer is determined to make sure that children in the U.S. do not go hungry any longer. The company has created a smoothie called The Full Effect which consists of carrot, spinach, apples, white beans and oats—the full nutritional range. Grimmer is convinced that the drink could help kids in the Los Angeles area greatly and ABC Los Angeles reports that half-a-million containers of The Full Effect have been local charitable organizations to help needy children improve their diets.

It's an ambitious goal, but Grimmer and the Plum Organics team deserve to be commended for their efforts.
