Nvidia's newly named Shield android handheld will release June 27 and gets a price drop to boot, at $299.
The Tegra 4 powered handheld features the world fastest mobile processor for watching movies, music and most of all, PC Games. Customers who already pre-ordered the Sheild will see $50 dollars back.
We're not sure if the Shield is worth $299 even with the price drop, we've seen a couple demo videos and some still images but we'll have to let the pre-orders be our guinea pigs at this point.
