Starting today, Starbucks has prohibited smoking within 25 feet of their establishments. You want to puff a cig? Get to walking. According to spokeswoman Jaime Lynn Riley, the decision was made to take their indoor no smoking policy outside. The policy will even apply if the location doesn't have an outdoor seating location—a testament to how serious they are.
Some people feel cheated that Starbucks is banning smoking, but still supports guns. Oh well. All this means is that you'll have to wait until you get your Mocha Frappucino before you light one up. You'll survive.
