A cheerleader and senior at Hopkins High School in Minneapolis has been arrested and accused of pimping out one of her teammates. Montia Marie Parker, 18, faces charged for sex trafficking and promoting prostitution after the parent of a 16-year-old girl reached out to local authorities after finding shocking texts on the girl's phone. Nothing makes you re-evaluate things like reading texts that indicate your teenage daughter might be involved in prostitution.

An investigator interviewed the girl, who said that she told friends in March that she was looking to make extra money. One friend suggested she could earn extra cash by performing oral sex on men, but she said she never took the suggestion seriously. However, Parker reportedly reached out to the girl a few days later requesting her phone number.

A back and forth conversation between the two teens escalated when Parker asked the younger girl if she was willing to trade sex for money. The girl agreed to exchange oral sex for money, and Parker allegedly asked her for revealing pictures of herself that weren't "too nasty."

The criminal complaint claims that in early March, Parker, the girl and two others went to an apartment building. It's there that she reportedly performed oral sex on a man for $60. The next day, Parker got the girl out of school by pretending to be her mother over the phone, then drove her to another location to have sex with a man.

When she refused, Parker tried to convince her all would be fine. When she only offered the man oral sex, he declined. When police finally spoke to Parker, she admitted to creating a Backpage.com advertisement for the girl and receiving several calls from men about it. In addition, she admitted to shuttling girls to and from different residences and collecting money for their sex acts.

School officials confirmed that Parker has been expelled and she could face additional charges.
