Earlier this week, a man crashed into his car into a bodega in the East Village, striking four people in the process. Now, prosecutors are saying he was high on PCP at the time of the incident. Shaun Martin, 32, was arrested after his Nissan darted across three lanes, jumped the curb and smacked into the building located at 2nd Avenue and East 4th Street. The Queens resident reportedly had bloodshot eyes, could barely walk and kept asking "Am I dead?"

Prosecutors originally said that marijuana was found in his sock and EMT workers added that PCP was discovered there as well. Furthermore, a woman who was with Martin before the accident allegedly said that he had been "drinking and doing drugs all night." Bodega employee Muhammed Akkas Ali, who sustained injuries to his head and leg, remains unconscious. Other victims who suffered less severe injuries are recovering .
