Early yesterday morning, a student at Brooklyn's Murry Bergtraum High School was stabbed to death just 30 feet from his home. Against his father's wishes, 17-year-old Kenny Chen left his house just after midnight after receiving a phone call. Just a few hours later, Chen was fatally stabbed.

According to witnesses, men were seen running away from Chen's body after 3:30 a.m. He was later pronounced dead at Coney Island Hospital. Sources close to the NYPD say that a large quantity of marijuana was found on Chen at the time of his death, but it's unclear if it played a role in the murder.

A cousin who asked not to be identified by the New York Post is confident that Chen knew his killers. "He knew who killed him," she insisted.
