Alicia Keys covers the July 2013 issue of Marie Claire UK, and in addition to looking amazing, she also dishes on her husband, Swizz Beats. "Swizz will have the fastest car, the biggest jewellery, the loudest jacket; everything with him is really over the top. I used to see him and think, ‘he is so annoying,’ Keys said.
Luckily, she got over that, and they were married in 2010. "I think we've taught each other a lot," she said of her husband. "He's taught me to live more fully and I think I've taught him to live more deeply." Keys also admitted that she said no several times when her management tried to get them into the studio together. "I fought it tooth and nail," she said. "Why should I work with him? Finally, though, we did it and we had a ball."
