The linchpin to the Droid series' über-male ethos, the Droid X proved size mattered by coming jam-packed with features that made other phones jealous. Measuring in at five inches tall, the true 16:9 screen ratio was perfect for viewing HD videos captured with the on-board 720p camera, which was also capable of taking stills up to a whopping eight megapixels. The Motorola Blur-like skin overlayed on Android 2.1 became a nuissance to work with at times, but the X and its eerie red eye represent Motorola's finest modern offering.
