With the success of Netflix's Arrested Development revival, and the now-infamous Veronica Mars Kickstarter, it looks like other classic cult favorites could start being resurrected from the dead in total Buffy style.

Even better, it looks like we may not have to wait long to find out which series will be next: According to Xena the Warrior Princess herself, otherwise known as Lucy Lawless, there's the possibility that Xena: Warrior Princess could return in some form. Lawless took to her Twitter this weekend to share some interesting news about the possible future of the series:

Had an interesting call from a chap who wants to re-invigorate the #Xena brand. You guys may have started something.
But there's a lot of red tape around #XWP so don't get your knickers in a twist. It may come back in a different form.

Lawless portrayed Xena between 1995 and 2001 in both Xena and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. The character is a huge fixture in pop culture, so there's the possibility the nostalgia factor could work extremely well for a project like this - if anything even happens, that is. Lawless is, after all, currently on Parks and Recreation carrying Ron Swanson's baby and having amazing conversations with Leslie Knope like this one:

But hey, the possibility is there!
