It's not really surprising when you consider how great this season has been so far, but it's good news all the same - SpoilerTV is reporting that HBO has opted to renew the wonderful Julia Louis-Dreyfus-starring Veep for a ten-episode third season.
It's worth mentioning that not only has the season been great creatively, but it's been good ratings-wise as well. Last Sunday's episode marked a season high, with 1.32 million viewers tuning in total - that's just 600,000 viewers short of the series high, which was the pilot. Those are fairly good numbers for HBO, and when it's paired with quality, even better. Looks like the Seinfeld curse is officially broken, everyone. Rejoice, and someone find Jason Alexander a job.
