The thong bikini was popular in Myrtle Beach, SC this weekend, but at the same time, it wasn't. To be clear, four women were arrested for ignoring police warnings to cover their bare bottoms. Authorities say they told 22-year-old Tiara Monique Garness to cover up twice, before arresting her early Friday morning and charging her with indecent exposure. She was held on $469 cash bond.

Three other women—34-year-old Tenisha Blair; 31-year-old Latoya Michen and 27-year-old Faye Collins—were arrested between Friday morning and Saturday night for being bold enough to disobey the law. Speaking of which, the law can be found on the city's website and says that "Thong bikini bathing suits and public display of certain body parts are illegal and can result in arrest."

So basically, hide your cheeks in public or place them in the back of a police car.
